Maybe You Should Talk to Someone

By: Lori Gottlieb

This is a great book for anyone that wants to start exploring the world of therapy without going straight into it.

“Therapy” is a word that creates a wide array of reactions in people.

For many years, it was thought as a “weakness” to be in, or need, therapy. In recent years, it seems as everyone is in therapy for everything. The pendulum has been swinging hard.

The stories that are shared in the book will help you increase your empathy, your gratitude, your self-awareness, and will likely make you an all-around better human.

Flow: 4/5, it’s a big book but the stories and chapters flow well.

Actionability: 3/5, not much specific actionability although you’ll likely be able to apply some of the principles that are shared.

Mindset: 5/5, will likely help make a paradigm shift related to vulnerability and sharing it with others.

No highlights here because this was part of my “nighttime reading” which is more about relaxing and enjoying some stories instead of analyzing and learning.
